Workshops
Everything in one place, and nobody else can get at it
A container makes an excellent workshop because it starts out strong and lockable. Add benches down one wall, racking above, decent lighting and enough outlets, and you have a working space that will outlast a timber shed by decades.
For trades, farms and lifestyle blocks it also has the advantage of being movable. Change property, and the workshop goes on a truck with everything still in it.

FAQ
Container workshops, answered

It is not essential, but it makes a real difference. An uninsulated container is hot in summer, cold in winter, and will sweat onto your tools. Insulation and lining largely solves all three.
Yes, where a three-phase supply is available at the site. Our electricians will spec the switchboard and circuits for the machinery you are running.
A 20ft gives you a solid single-person workshop with a full bench run. A 40ft suits two people working at once, or one person with larger machinery and material storage.
